Bronze jue is an ancient wine holder with three legs and a loop handle, which is a wine vessel as well as a ritual vessel.

    Bronze jue with one stem on its spout is a wine drinking vessel in the category of jue , mainly used by some middle- or low-rank nobles. It first appeared in the Zhengzhou Shang Dynasty city site of the lower stratum of Erligang Culture or sites in its periphery of the same period. With the expansion of the Shang Dynasty culture and the shift of ruling center, it spread to Panlong City, Taixi Village of Gaocheng City, Laoniupo, the Yin Ruins, Daxinzhuang and other nearby areas until it disappeared in late Yin Ruins.
