    This paper studies such issues as the time of the establishment of the Changsha Kingdom during the Western Han dynasty, the reign of King Wu Rui of Changsha Kingdom,and the time of conferring the title of King of Changsha upon Liu Xing in the Eastern Han dynasty. It concludes that the time of the establishment of the Changsha Kingdom during the Western Han dynasty should be the date when the imperial edict was issued, the reign of King Wu Rui should be six months, and the earliest time when Liu Xing was conferred the title of King of Changsha should be the spring or summer of the third years
